I am a Birth Doula very excited to be joining RVMM and all that it encompasses.
I have a special place in my heart for working with young/teen single birthing parents. I also have personal experience with autism and anxiety and would love to support you through this journey if this is part of your story. I hold tight to the belief that all families deserve and should have access to birthing support, no matter the conditions that surround them.
I do this work because it is absolutely my passion. I love the 2am calls, I connect with every birth, feeling the individuality of the moment. I don’t believe our ability to grow in this practice is ever over and that I can learn from each and every birthing person that chooses to have me support them.
At home, I am thankful to have 3 young men ages 15 to 21. Their stories are long and complicated, but autism and anxiety and medical issues have surrounded our world for many years and I have grown and learned from these amazing humans who have taught me how to parent and love unconditionally, especially through the tough times. We have lived in Kent/Black Diamond throughout their childhood. We love to camp and play games and just laugh together.
